PAPA’S Park (The Pulross Area Play Association) is a volunteer-led , open access playground, cafe, and community hub nestled in the heart of Brixton, London. Established in the 1990s, it was created to rescue a derelict former council-run play area protecting it from redevelopment. Often referred to as the Urban Oasis, PAPA’S Park has become a safe haven for children and families in the area —fostering connection, inclusion, joy, and environmental sustainability. I strived to reflect these values as well as their story when rebranding PAPA’S Park. The final product consisted of a new logo, color scheme, and icons which represented the variety of services that PAPA’S Park provides.
